Rev. Andrew J. White, Sr.

In 1964, Reverend Andrew White moved to Petersburg to become a minister at Zion Baptist Church, which was host to many mass meetings during the civil rights movement. With great detail, he remembers specific events that were key to bringing progress and equality to Petersburg. He also shares his insights on the state of the city today. On a broader note, he speaks of the impact made by the assassinations of President John Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy and Rev. Dr. King.
